I am trying to get a student credit card, however, I have no credit at all. Are there any cards that are for students, that you don’t have to have any credit to get them?

   everyone has to start somewhere. so it doesnt matter if you dont have credit. because everyone starts out with no credit. you get credit by getting a credit card. so just apply for a few (not to many, maybe 3) and see if you get accepted. it took me a few times before i finally got mine. now i can get a credit card anytime i want because i have good credit. just be sure to make your payments and not to get in debt.

   Most credit cards you apply for as a student don’t require credit at all. You have to start credit sometime! Most cards like Citi Bank and Chase just want some information such as if you have a bank account or what school you go to. Other than that, you should get accepted unless you’ve already started your credit and have really bad credit

   Most student cards are made for those with little or no credit history. Discover and Chase have some great student cards that you can see at the link in the source below.

   Also, depending on why you want a credit card – you could always get a prepaid credit card. These are good for people who want to make online purchases but don’t have a card or for those who can’t get a card due to bad or no credit history.

   Again, I would try for a student card first if that’s what you want. If that doesn’t work, take a look at your prepaid card options to build up your credit.

   Try to build credit without credit cards.

   Getting a credit card when you have no credit can be a problem. Credit card companies offer credit cards specifically meant for students who are trying to build their credit. You may get a very low credit limit but if you pay off your balance on time, they will eventually raise the limit.

   If you get denied, you may want to get a prepaid debit card for a few months to build your credit and then apply for a credit card. You can find and compare prepaid debit cards at http://www.nuuvoo.com/prepaid
