Moody’s Orchard Says Iceland’s Debt May Be Cut to Junk

March 8 (Bloomberg) — Kenneth Orchard, a vice president and senior credit analyst at Moodys Investors Service, talks about Iceland’s credit rating after voters rejected a proposed bill on repaying UK and Dutch loans made during the island’s banking crisis. Ninety-three percent of voters rejected the so-called Icesave bill in the March 6 plebiscite. Orchard speaks with Bloomberg’s Rishaad Salamat in London.
